Shock and Soul ads

Old models for vintage clothing ads - why not?
I really do appreciate these two ads taken by John Short for Shock and Soul, which is neat and with a unique temperament from the two models.

Touching you like teen spirit, brilliant.

Go!

It is always hard for me to get myself back to an old habit that I've been given up for quite a period. The idea of starting another blog - or let's say writing - again has been lingering in my head for a season. So here I am at the end of the road, starting another journey.

As a design student, I have to admit I don't make good ones at the moment. Hopefully I'm making it happen someday. But before that I still believe it is necessary to keep an eye on what's happening on our planet.

I was told that knowing too much is not that nice as ones will lose their own thought; "over-researching" is especially unhealthy for a designer or artists 'cause the more you've seen, the fewer original ideas and inspirations you get at last.

Is it a guilt to know various ways and different stories behind a design or an art piece? I hope not 'cause curiosity kills all the time, deeply =P

I shall really start now (;
